About the Event

Join us for a unique playtesting collaboration between Cincinnati Tabletop Game Designers (CTGD) and Super Heroines Etc. (SHE) at the Gatherall. On Saturday May 4 from Noon to 6PM, we'll come together for an exhilarating evening of fun and purpose. ALL are welcome to bring their game designs, whether you’re a member of CTGD, SHE, or anyone else. Let's shape the future of board gaming together!

Question: Do I need to buy a ticket?

Answer: No need to buy a ticket. The event is FREE.

Question: How complete does my game need to be to playtest?

Answer: Bring your game at any stage whether it's just a bunch of notes on scrap paper or a full prototype. Bring it and we'll help you get it to the next step.

Question: What kinds of games do you playtest?

Answer: We playtest all kinds of games: casual games, heavy games, kids' games, RPGs, etc. Typically, playtesting doesn't go for more than an hour which is plenty of time to get the feel of the game and provide feedback.

Question: How many games can I bring?

Answer: We like to make sure everyone gets to playtest, at least, one of their games. If you have additional games after everyone has had one game playtest, you're welcome to continue playtesting. We also ask try to playtest at least one game for each of your games that is playtested.

Question: Do I need to bring a game? Can I just come and playtest?

Answer: We love those who just come to play! You don't need to bring a game. Also, if you're an artist, writer, or offer some other kind of board game related service, you're welcome to join us and network

Question: I have questions about self publishing or finding a publisher. Can you help me?

Answer: Yes, we're here to help. We have several members with published games - both self-published and through a publisher. We're glad to share our experiences and tips.

Question: What kind of food is available at The Gatherall?

Answer: The Gatherall has all kinds of great food. Check out their website: https://www.thegatherall.com/
